Seaport & World Trade Weddings and Events

One of our favorite venues to perform at is the Seaport Hotel and Boston's World Trade Center.  With its spacious ballrooms overlooking the Boston Harbor in the bustling and trendiest neighborhood of the Seaport district in Boston, this venue is quite popular with many of our BSL clients.

Mr. and Mrs. Saxobeat

Jay and Sonia hosted their two day wedding celebrations at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center.  The first night was a sangeet/garba at the Lighthouse ballroom over looking the old skyline of Boston's financial district.  The wedding day featured the groom coming down the aisle of flags on a horse with our Baraat parade leading into the Harborview ballroom of the WTC.   Jay and Sonia had created an intro video before their grand entrance in an era where nobody ever did that; the theme song, "Mr. Saxobeat".   Sonia wanted her share of Bollywood and Top 40, Jay wanted to go A-town crunk, and so we did.  Check out the amazing photos from J-Koe Photography (borrowed from their FB profile).

Anita and Jacob

This awesome Malyanan wedding started off at the church and then we took over the party at the Seaport Hotel.   This wedding was a true fusion of Bollywood and Top 40, and people danced away  under our amazing lighting and on top of our star lit dance floor.  Check out the awesome highlight film from LifeStream Films above, and the splendid photos from Thuy Pham photography below.

Megan and Sree

When an Irish meets an Indian, you know it's going to be one hec of a party.  This wedding was a fusion within a fusion.  South Indians typically do not do baraats, but Sree was adamant to show his Irish future that Indians can party too.  Check out the gorgeous highlight from Long Haul Films above, and pictures from Symbol Photography below.

Stacey and James

While we love to entertain, sometimes we are hired simply for our audio visual technology.  Stacey had seen our work at various events prior to her own wedding, and was certain that she used BSL for her wedding reception in the grand ballroom at the Seaport Hotel.  Check out the amazing light rose pink uplighting we did for Stacey and James wedding through the lens of Brit Perkins Photography.  This wedding was featured on the Boston Bride Magazine.  Check out the full publication here.

The "Elephant" Gig

Jump to the 2 minute mark on this amazing highlight film from our friends over at Summer Wind Films of Roopa and Vishnu's wedding.  This amazing wedding featured our white dance floor, amazing lighting, custom gobo, and of course an elephant baraat.

Sushama and Ganesh

When we first met Sushama and her father, their clear words were "Telegus don't dance".  I expressed to them that I beg to differ.  What a sweet couple in Sushama and Ganesh.  The ceremony mandap was made entirely out of flowers.  A live band was flown in from Toronto to play nadaswaram music.  We brought in Fauj Bhangra to come teach the family a dance move or two, and then rocked out for the night.  Check out this amazing highlight and picture slideshow from Binita Patel Photography.
